Tax Accountant
Brammer & Yeend is seeking a Tax Accountant to join our growing team in Shelbyville, Indiana. Brammer & Yeend is located just a short drive from Indianapolis and Greenwood. As a Tax Accountant, you will play an important role in client engagements, develop working relationships with clients and be able to shift focus as priorities change. Brammer and Yeend is a local CPA firm with a friendly work environment. We offer flexible work schedules including work from home capabilities. We value all of our employees and many have been with our firm for over 15 years. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated accountant to manage an existing client base from start to finish.
Position would require the ability to work full time during busy tax season and could be flexible during the off season.
Position Details:
- Responsible for general bookkeeping and trial balance maintenance for clients
- Preparation individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Preparation of business property tax returns
- Develop, build and manage client relationships
- Research tax matters and communicate those findings to clients
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting-preferred
- Minimum of 3 years tax preparation experience with individual, corporate and partnership returns
- Detail oriented
- Willing to develop client relationships
